Posted by: Chad    in Plumbing Drains

A storm drain, storm sewer, stormwater drain, is designed to drain excess rain and ground water from paved streets, parking area, sidewalks, and roofs. Storm drains deviate in design from small residential dry wells to large domestic systems. They’re fed by street gutters on most expressways, freeways and other active roads, also towns in areas which undergo heavy rainfall, flooding and seaward towns which experience steady storms.

Building codes and local government ordinances deviate greatly on the handling of storm drain overflow. Brand-new developments might be expected to construct their own storm drain processing capacity for reverting the runoff to the water table. before venturing forward check with local municipalities on storm drains.

Keep in mind that waste of any type will be prohibited from entering the Storm Drainage system
