What is “Backflow”?
An uninvited flow of used or non-potable water or substance from any domestic, industrial or institutionalized piping system into the potable water dispersion system. The direction of flow that depicts this condition is in a backward direction, causing siphon-age.
A Backflow device maybe necessary to protect the water system experiencing backflow.
